I don't wean them. They have a feed pot and a small drinker in the nest box. And a bit of the red grit, They learn to eat and drink and when they are big enough they start jumping out of their box. having had this Op at 10 years old been in the garden to-day at 77 years old worked all my live i now know it's time to retire Blimmy that was quite an ordeal for a young lad George !!! Good for you mate, you've served your time so now sit back and enjoy a well earned retirement. All the best
