Been trying to copy and paste result but for some reason cannot do it
1st K Wright 2-27-19 for 75-678 miles velocity 900.63 winning £837.50 prize and pools
2nd Black & Coup 2-29-21 for 76.397 miles vel 898.27 winning £80
3rd Black & Coupe 2-29-24 for 76.397 miles vel 897.97 winning £40

Well done them. Obviously a hard race going by the velocities. Hope returns were good.
The Plymouth club down this way have a few late Autumn races. 5 races I think. They usually get good races and returns with nothing else flying at that time of year.

With the high winds and low temperatures in Scotland yesterday, I’ll bet the competing birds that had to face those conditions didn’t think it was good fun

27 birds showing on sheet with velocities down as low as 458.21 which may have been the cut off point don't really know, there was 26 lofts sending 154 birds in total

Let's be fair that aint a race.
At some point you gotta say we'll only hold the race if the conditions are at least 1/2 way suitable

The velocity reflects the conditions it was flown on, which given it's December it ain't that bad. £837.50 prize and pools is way better than a great race with no prize money. How many fanciers next year are going to win that at club level?
