Some early results today birds doing over 2027ypm, that may change when other results start coming in, 1 hour 26 for just over 99 miles

Been a lot doing in excess of 2200 ypm in feds with a tail wind. The winners in both the young bird and any age BICC races from Guernsey were doing over 2100 ypm. Must have been a lot of South in the SW wind.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

I agree Andy, when you look at how the birds came in there must have been a fair bit of South in it somewhere.

Just been looking at the Wolverhampton fed for today and early ones, Purchase and Walker taking first 23 places with just over a minute between them doing over 1728 ypm

It was steady racing down here yesterday, very little wind. But looking at some of the velocities of some of the races flying South to North there must have been some quite strong South winds around.

Was windy here so yes there would be a south wind

Good velocities and good flying by Purchase and Walker ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
The weather was certainly variable here with more of a westerly wind and quite a few showers around too, some heavy. Our club and fed results show this with our Fed Winners being in Eastbourne again doing 1448ypm. I'll post our result in another thread.
