Its rife countrywide i read in pigeon paper, also a couple of club members have stopped racing due to the problem. Im really disappointed, as they were flying a solid 60-75 mins every morning, plus a trainer as well. Positive is they (13)have trained well and have had a night away from home and released from a trailer. Ive another five that will be trained over the autumn, so should have a decent sized team for next year.
That will be a shame Les but as you say they have been well schooled. Fat eye is prevalent down here also. We have another club that bring their pigeons up our headquarters to be put on the transporter. This week 2 birds were removed from their crates with fat eye. One couldn’t even open one eye. How they were ever marked like that I don’t know. It may have been pecked in the basket making it worse but should still have been noticed.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

What a shame Les after all the hardwork you and they have put in, hopefully you may still get that last race, well done on another good trainer
Sadies Lofts home of decent birds just a useless loft manager, and now a confirmed loser but proud :D :D

Sorry to hear that Les, what a shame for you mate 😔 at least they have trained well so you should have a ice crop of yearlings to take into next season 👍😊 I hope the other 5 babies come on well too.
Well done and all the best mate.
