Lots of space

Talk about anything racing pigeon related here aslong as there isnt a section for it.

There are plenty of very successful hen racers. Down here many or even most blokes prefer hens.
Yes loads seem to be racing hens only
It’s new to me really use to mess about with a few without needing them to perform like the Cocks
Young Danny in our club has won twice with hens this year, 1st time from Hexham, 290miles, taking 1st Federation too, the 2nd time from Kelso, 340 miles, taking 4th Federation. He has also won a couple with cocks but when his hens are right they certainly come good, so I'm sure you will get them going Neil, hopefully the young bird season will be kind to you 🤞👍

Having just posted last weeks Federation result, I noticed that the first 8 birds were all hens !!

I have a larger team than normal
35-40 tops is my limit but I have 50
I have the first team just started training the 2nd team I will start once the first lot are at 18 miles so if I get a strike there I only have one team in the group
the 2nd team are all late April early May hatched but roaming well now
I have a few new ones to try 4 Mike got me from his pal , 8 from two mates for me to try and 10 from some stock birds I purchased with a pal that stay at his
So I hopefully will find something from that lot and my own bred
All are natural so try to make 5 races then have a look at what we have

4-5 races is plenty mate

You might not always be able to gauge which ones are "the best", but its enough to identify the idiots!
