Littlehampton RPC
Thanks all
I only get a shot at a couple of races each year so it's good to get one of them, just need to crack the Federation and Combine next year

Our 3 longest races were :-
Hexham 295 miles, 10th Club
Kelso 339miles 4th Club 17th Federation 38th Combine
Crieff 406miles 1st Club 20th Federation 34th Combine
Kelso and Crieff was the same pigeon GB23A52375 Brian Doick x Roy Oliver.
I've also now got 10 yearlings all flown 400 miles so on the whole I can't complain at that

Sadies Lofts home of decent birds just a useless loft manager, and now a confirmed loser but proud

This week was our first youngbird bird, these can be a bit of a lottery so I didn't risk my whole team, we have the same race point next week so I split the team and sent the oldest 20 birds. Due to it being the first race and the fact that some members had been having bad trainers quite a few didn't send this week.
Our club had 7 members sending 175 birds and the federation sent 500 in total.
They were liberated from Bovingdon at 11am in light South West wind, I thought they'd do it in about about 1hr 15 to 1hr 30mins. Which wasn't the case,
by 1pm I was thinking it was going to be a disaster, then just after 1pm a bird came from the East over the house and landed straight on the trap and in, I don't think I've ever had a quicker trap !! It was a checker Hen bred by George & Morgan and was on the clock at 1.04 I had another 1 at 1.06 and 2 more at 1.08, I expected them all to start arriving now but again that wasn't to be as they were coming in one at a time over the next few hours. By the time I went to the club I had 16/20 and when I got home from the club I had another 2 home, so this morning I'm still 2 out. All 3 from George are home, as are 2 bred from a couple of Busters, on the whole I'm quite pleased with that as first race for them considering they've only had 4 trainers.
This is our club result, well done again Alan
This is the provisional Federation top 10
This is how mine arrived.
I also got up to find another bird from Crieff on my loft this morning, that's 21/24 now.
All the best.
