Well the Sussex North Road Fed liberated some 740 birds at 9.45am from Bovingdon, no wind given and the birds cleared well.
I was hoping for one by 11am, it was quite warm already and very still so I didn't think they'd be too quick. Well just before 11 I had a Blue pied appear from over the house, it did a couple of circles before being joined by 5 other birds, they didn't waste too much time before coming down and trapping with all 6 being timed within a minute. The others weren't too far behind in just over an hour I had 25 of the 32 in, I had another 2 during the afternoon, 1 more while I was at the club yesterday evening and 1 on the loft this morning. So have 29/32 in total, 2 of those still missing went last week so I'm a bit surprised they aren't home !! The other is one of the 10 that I brought in this year from Rich in Wales, it was 3 of his that were first on the clock followed by 2 from Alan Still stock. Once again Alan showed us how to do it by the taking the first 6 in the club and first 4 in the Fed, so well done again to him, considering he spent most of last winter in hospital after having a quadruple heart bypass he certainly came back fighting 👍🤠
This is how my birds came, our Club result and our provisional Fed top 10, well done also to Terry Pay, our fed secretary, he is also a big trainer so another advert for his hard work pays off. Terry has a trailer so does also take other members birds, as long as you can get them to him by 6.30 in the morning !!

I got 2/3 of George's, 2/3 of Buster's with the 3rd being on the loft this morning and 9/10 of Rich's so they are coming ok.

How did it go Andy
Not brilliant Neil. I’ll put it on the Glastonbury post.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

Yes Neil, I am very pleased to have got 6 of those 10 in the first 12. Infact with 4 of the others being from 2 Cock birds gifted to me this year by Alan Still, I actually had new blood in 10 of the first 12 so I have to take that as a positive 🤠
