It's been 4 seasons in one day in St Arnaud.
It was mild this morning with the forecast for possible thunderstorms. It got very warm, about 27 degrees at lunchtime :D :D
Then several brief, intense, storms came over. It would pour with rain for a couple of minutes then the sun came out again.
About 5 pm a strong cold wind arrived and the temperature dropped to 11. The flat piece of steel covering the sputnik vanished in one guts of wind. Gone! :o Not a light bit of tin either.
The wind was howling through the loft so I grabbed the drill and screwed the plastic covers up over the front.
It's just about dark now, the wind has died down but it's still cold and damp.
Crazy!
Greetings from the land down under. :D
