Must be lovely not to have the threat
Different world to here
Before joining Glastonbury last year Neil I was just racing in the nationals, internationals and classics. I was racing natural then and n open loft. I lost less pigeons over those years to the BOPS than I have last year and this when they have had restricted time out. Then they would either sit in the top of a tall fur tree or on the roof of one of the 3 storey houses. Any sign of a BOP, which they could see at a distance, they would be off. I have watched on many occasions my pigeons grouping together and seeing the BOP off. They would circle in a tight bunch flying at the BOP chasing it away. They would go out of sight before returning once the threat had disappeared.
My birds when out now will rarely go down on the garden. They were bathing either on the loft or up on the house. I have no trouble even if just fed getting them back into the loft when I call them.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.
