Talk about anything racing pigeon related here aslong as there isnt a section for it.

Simple question, not about motivating your birds. But about motivating yourself?

Yep, I agree with that, :D
Also, I get huge satisfaction from having a close relationship with my pigeons and seeing them respond to the training program. Seeing a pigeon appear from a race, swing round and dive in, that's all the motivation I need.

At times not that easy Mike, so what happens then? We have seen some really bad results this year alone.

The best quote I ever saw,

If you were disappointed this year, and nothing has changed, prepare to be disappointed again this year.

Make sure you go over why you get beat or at least wasn’t in the shake up then try to put it right
If it’s wind related then not a load you can do but if it’s a fair race then go over the week just gone to spot errors / study the birds for any minor health issues
