I weaned 7 babies into what was the Gordon box this morning. Some very nice youngsters among them.
There's a stunning pair of dark grizzles off the grizzle Thone' and the Billion Baby. I don't think I've ever had a nicer pair of youngsters.
When I took the Roadrunner babies over for the breeder plate race the other day the bloke said he had two extra rings for the race, as a couple of youngsters sent to him were not good enough. I showed him a picture of the grizzle babies. I bought those rings home to go on the next round. The Billion Baby laid again last night.
It will be nice to have some young birds flying again.
Greetings from the land down under. :D

Have you nothing flying out at present Murray? I know you had a lot of trouble breaking them with the hawks.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

No Andy, I'm not flying anything at present. It was getting to the point where too many were going missing every time I let them out.

So, I am off to bed. Only three more sleeps!
And here's a thought for the day.
