On the other hand, it may be 5 x 1st Club wins on 5 different days
Some clubs can send 500 + pigeons
All depends

3 combine wins are excellent but do you fly a combine each week ?
In my area we fly 4 a year
Why only say 9 club wins though in 3 years though do you not have federation

Every race in germany is atleast a combine race. But since i only raced youngbirds up to this year and there is only 5-6 youngbird races each season i only participated in 16 total so far. But in general Youngbird and Old combined we have atleast 16-17 Races a year on a combine level And higher.
It does make a bit of a mockery of some of the results really and definitely needs viewing properly if looking to buy a particular pigeon.
The number of birds can also be totally misleading. A member could win a club against say 120 birds with only 3 members sending. The winner could send 100 and the other 2 just 10 birds each. We have one club in our combine where most weeks only 1 member sends. This also happens in the nationals and classics where some sections only have one or two members sending and the first bird in the section classed as winning a 1st prize. You can also have now joint liberations between different organisations, ie, BICC, BBC, NFC etc. You could have the winner of 1st section, 1st open BBC let’s say being beaten by several birds from the same liberation but entered in the other organisations. I know a pigeon can only beat those that it’s against but it does make a pigeon look better than what it possibly is.

Dont know the exact radius but id say first youngbird race of the season about 1300 pigeons raced give or take. We just got 5 new members this year in our combine so it got a little bump up in numbers which is good.
