Well done Nick Keirghan, yet again.

Nick is flying extremely well. He is not afraid to race and train them hard, and certainly gets the results.

His pigeons certainly always handle a treat.
Brilliant result, well done Nick 👏👏

Those out on the plains and near the rivers are in trouble. When the country was settled, a couple of hundred years ago, they automatically built beside the rivers. The trouble is, every decade or two, they get a "100 year flood", which by definition, isn't, and it all goes under water.

I feel sorry for the people stacking sand bags. it is a horrible thing to have a river go through your home or business.
Thoughts are with you all especially those who are most at risk.

I felt a bit off colour yesterday morning, shivering and aching and feeling like death.

Of course I still went to work, one of my staff has been away with Covid and we needed to do some stuff. After a coiuple of hours I couldn't even remember what I was trying to do, so they sent me home. I climbed into bed and hour latter I didn't know who my wife was, couldn't remember the names of the cats and hardly knew where I was. I was in massive pain all over.

Oops. :o

Covid. It is a little worry because I have emphysema and if it got to my lungs I would be in trouble. However I seem to have a cast iron immune system. Slept for 11 hours last night, got up at 6 to feed the cats, made a cup of coffee and I am fine. Bit of a headache, but the coffee is fixing that.

I will have today off to let the body heal itself, and by Monday i should be fine. :D

The strange thing I have after having 4 doses of vaccine and covid a year ago is that I wear an Apple Watch most of the time. Since having had covid sometimes overnight and sometimes during the evenings if just sitting relaxing I get a warning from my watch that my heart rate had dropped below 40 beats per minute for 10 minutes. Never had it before having covid. Goes as low as 35 beats. My heart rate is normally quite low at an average of 58, possibly due to swimming and playing water polo when younger.

I am still dealing with it
Last night woke up soaking wet. Went through 3 Tee shirts and had a towel on the pillow to stop it getting soaked. Then quick as that it stopped, I feel deep asleep and woke up better but terribly tired.
The fever is the body's way of beating the virus, I guess,
