Todays weather.
We had a bit of weather here today.
The forecast was for possible thunderstorms at 4 pm, 5 pm and 6 pm.
When I got home shortly after 4, I made a call to let them out. I had my fingers crossed. Catherine said, " You need to get them out and in as quick as you can, it's going to get bad". My wife never makes a mistake.
So I tipped them all out and did the housework.
There were flashes of lightning and booms and crashes around the place, but nothing over us. It held off long enough for me to call them all in, I was very pleased.
I put the plastic over the sputnik, put the tin over that, and thought, wow, we just missed that one.
By this stage the advice from the weather bureau was to get inside. NOW
Then a little pied baby who had been pottering about turned up.
The cloud was dropping like something out of a movie
and I was going "ooh hell!" I ripped the cover off the sputnik, the baby went in, eventually, and as i put the cover back on the trap, this happened...
