We had my youngest son’s wedding yesterday. We had a lovely day and was great to get together with all the family. This is quite rare nowadays.
This morning when I done the birds I noticed 2 birds back from previous races. 1 from last weeks and 1 from 3 weeks ago. Both are fine. Strange that they tend to return over the weekends. I presume that with loads of birds in the sky racing in all directions they just get picked up and get moving. I’m not sure if they turned up yesterday or this morning as I had left the trap’s open yesterday during the day and just shut them up last night but didn’t check to see if anything else was back.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

I had yet another bird back today from the bad race I had on the 29th April. He is a bit thin but otherwise ok.

I had sent 35. Had only 5 on the day with another 5 the next day. Now up to 22 from that race.

Good to see that they are still making their way home Andy, I have to say that I have had more birds work back this year than I have for a long time, several injured unfortunately but at least they made it.

It was a lovely day and great to see 4 generations of the family all together which as you say is sadly quite rare these days.
