I’m pretty confident BBC, BICC and CSCFC were the 3 organisations involved
You maybe right. Resulting in 2 National and 1 classic winner from the same lib where there should have been only one Winner.
It happens all the time though king with the bbc bicc Barcelona last week was the same

I was in all three and agree there should, and really was, just one winner. This is only going to become more common place with more organisations joining together.

Just had a look at some notes as I sold birds for Mellonby, Knowles and Simpkin in 2022
They were 1st Open BBC Lerwick, yet 3rd Open BICC Lerwick (same pigeon, same liberation)
This plays out all the time now as we saw only in the last few weeks Mark Gilbert was 1st BBC Barcelona but didn't win the BICC
And i think it was Lee & Kevin Buddle winning 1st BBC Pau but Jonathan Palmer won the BICC (same lib)

It does, as Neil said, make a mockery of the results. I suppose it all looks good when selling pigeons.

I’m not sure it helps selling at all
Before say a 1st Open BBC was a 1st Open - no doubts
Now you look at say a 1st Open BBC and ask yourself was there a better bird in the same liberation?

How can there be 1 winner, when its two different clubs. They are only transporting, and liberating together for costs. I am not in the BBC or the BICC, but I have won, out of the channel, under the same circumstances, and did not think any lesser of the other bird. You have got to be in it to win it.

I think the difference is a lot selling say 1st open national and not say 1st bbc
When other pigeons beating them in the same race are really the national winners
I don’t think the big organisations are looked on as clubs but more nationals particularly in adverts
