Yes it’s not a bad job really. Been self employed properly for 25 years now and really been my own boss since I was 19 when I was farming. I do miss farming and working with quality cattle but don’t think I could do that now. Working all day every day. What I really miss is being outside especially during the summer. Being stuck in a shop 6 days a week has its drawbacks. Hoping to retire into the country and then be able to enjoy the open air again.
I couldn’t do what you do Neil and work or live in a city, or even a large town. Certainly don’t want a house on a housing estate or in a town. A quite country village is what I want.
