I thought was the idea of us all having to get a CPH number so that they could contact everyone.
If they have your correct details you should be receiving them? I got both a text and email. And a mate of mine received the same
Thanks Goose. I’m not in one of the restricted areas so probably aren’t going to get them at present.

I'm not myself mate the messages as far as I'm aware should go out to everyone who had to register for a CPH number. And I think I'm right in saying anyone who keeps more than 50 birds had to register with APHA/DEFRA for a CPH number by 31st October last year.

Everyone bird keeper had to register with APHA/DEFRA for a CPH number by 31st October last year even if only having 1 bird, be it pigeon, chicken, duck BOP, etc. the above 50 birds has always been a requirement. Now you shouldn’t be able to pay any subs without supplying your CPH number, I know I had to. So anyone without one won’t be able to race this year.

I have never had one before Andy I can’t recall the rpra mentioning that I need one before, although it doesn’t come from them how would we know or who should have informed us in previous years to get one
I can’t think of anyone in my fed who had one before

It think it was always a requirement from DEFRA. But of course before the issues with bird flu and CPH numbers it was never enforced. Also no one would know who or how many birds people had. The CPH was the thing that changed it. A holding number (CPH) is required in agriculture and so any birds would have been registered that were kept on farms already.

It is APHA not DEFRA you should be receiving them from.
I got a CPH number for the 50 birds plus but still heard nothing yet.
