Most of them had a clicker in them to activate them and they would last an hour or so before going solid, you then had to boil them to reset them so were useable time and time again. I used to have them in pockets when cleaning out and bedding up the cattle during the winter. Think I've still got some somewhere, I'll have to look them out as I could have done with them over the past few days![]()
