With the weather we are having this week and my work load it looks like my first batch will be starting the season on the back of just the three trainers. I'll probably send 20 this week and hopefully will get the chance to train the remaining youngsters again before they go the following week.

I don't race ybs mate. I usually breed mine after the old bird season ends.Most likely put in five late bred yearlings for a spin.

Fair enough mate, sounds like a good way to improve your stock. I have to admit years ago I used to take a round of late breds from any birds that flown either of the two longest races. I have a pair of this years Perth birds going down on eggs which I'm tempted to keep.

I have far too many birds really but I think I will keep these 👍 I threw a pair of eggs away yesterday from another of my Perth birds that I kinda wish I hadn't lol 😬😕😄😅
