I have had 5 around here the last couple of days. The one that has been here for a couple of weeks still hasn’t come in but 2 did today. One is limping badly but although definitely injured it doesn’t appear broken. This one has no phone number on it. The other one that came is was a little red chequer cock. This one had a phone wing stamp I knew the code was fairly local. When checking it was from one of our club members lol. I took that to the club tonight.
I've still only had a couple of strays in this year, had a few turn up on a race day but they have cleared off after having a rest. The latest stray I had in unfortunately has gone to Newbold Verdon today with our birds as the owner wouldn't answer his phone of reply to text messages

Its great having rules saying all race birds should have a contact number but half the time you still can't get through to them, I should report them really. We'll see what happens if it turns up back here today.
Will either be your first bird back

or go into another loft
