We were at Aldi the other day and saw a sliding drop saw for Au$140. Catherine asked if that would be useful, I said it would but I didn't really need one.
Thinking about it i could see how it would be useful when I put the loft back up and add an aviary. Catherine wants a couple of chooks so i will build a little hen house. I plan to build a train layout, as I sold the last one.
So today we went and got one. Nice bit of kit for GBP 72.50.
Bargain mate

Good for you, they are a very useful bit of kit if you have any woodworking to do so I'm sure you'll make good use of it. You certainly can get some bargains like that at Aldi or Lidl's !! Ofcourse they won't put up with the abuse some of the dearer ones take but for domestic use they are great, I loved my one but unfortunately it did die eventually

All the popular tools with the trades these days are cordless as most construction sites won't allow plug in tools any more.
Enjoy it mate, I look forward to seeing what it helps you produce

Exactly Trev. It's a nice thing and is a lot of tool for the money, but I doubt it would last being used all day every day.
For what i need, perfect!
