It’s Monday night Neil

You have time to address the feed

You’re looking at a 100 min burn on Saturday

2 strays on the shed and my 2 celibacy cocks chasing the stray hen when I got home
So that’s not gone to plan at all a min longer and the poor trap by two of the three unpaired cocks now these two haven’t taken territory the same as the other unpaired cock who was in his box
I think I over fed a little on a slightly different feeding idea I had which I will go back to at another time
I should have tweaked it 2 weeks ago not played about Friday to Sunday
I wouldn't get too upset about it Neil. Two strays on your shed possibly means they clashed and gone for a wander for a minute. I'd see if they come home well next time before worrying about it too much.
Good to see you are getting the work into them now.

Cheers Murray
We will see tonight
Should be there last one before Saturday hopefully back on track

I'm not sure all the training of old birds is necessary I've been 3 times to 8 mile last time it took them 8 minutes but took me 90 mins with the traffic so thought sod it not been again I know people been going twice a day in these freezing East winds be interesting to see the result this weekend there training method to how I've done it .

I guess it all depends where your priorities lie

If you're a sprint orientated loft then you'll have taken advantage of the insanely good spell of weather that we had before this week

The boys who did that have got the groundwork in already and there's no real pressure on them to hit the road this week

Why leave so late or did you not have the lovely weather 3-4 weeks ago

If you allow for the fact that I am half a year ahead of you, or you are half a year ahead of me, I can never understand all that, you are getting ready for the old bird racing, and I am training young birds.
I have a nice small team of young birds, and in recent weeks I have gone out from a short toss a few weeks ago.

The young birds had another toss from the same place as last time.
Tail wind, I thought it was a quick one, :D
After an hour I was starting to pace up and down. :(
After an hour and a half, pigeons in the sputnik. :D
These youngsters flew 50 minutes this morning.
This afternoon they flew 90.
I think it's time to put them away for a while. :D

They still had young under them neil I was in no rush as I prefer the longer distance but still like to compete in all races,it wasn't a dig at people who train early more so that I wondered if people thought it necessary and would there be any difference if we didn't train so much.
