I struggle with that man’s videos devo so I won’t watch
I believe losses by fanciers is down to a few things
Buying pedigree without winners in there last 2 generations so shit breeding shit
Mixed ages together so some being stopped from roaming and others just followers and not learning
Very early breds left and not trained and probably not in a real good system from early in life
Health ,pigeons trained when not in good health
I bred 45 last year after 4 races had 36 all natural in two sections one for each age
I have a club mate who noticed this last year he weaned 20 may hatched he still has 16 well trained daily now he has there first race this week so that will be interesting

Neil you make some great points, and i agree with you. I am just pointing out the losses of birds, in OLR and club racing may be coming the same. I based at one time 33% of losses for the racing season in the UK.
We have our first race in Germany today, 1134 youngsters, the Lib put back to 11.00 am from 9.00 am. Lets see if that was a good call by the race controller.

Phil started training 28... 3-4 weeks into the YB programme he's currently at 23
They've all had at least 2 races and scores of tosses (well at least 50)

On the 3rd page of this topic, we seen members report losses in their own clubs. That was just a small % of the UK racing that weekend, i wonder what the grand total was?

Yes I understand Neil, what king was saying. But i wonder what the total losses were for that weekend alone. I would guess a high%.

Neil, i do agree. Some OLR do have big losses, but i put this down to Management of Youngsters, i have entered lofts in the past with a large amount of youngsters. So this year i entered the German Classic OLr , with 1300 youngsters in the loft. Not for everyone, but my cup of tea.
