Had some very heavy showers during the day with thunderstorms as well. The secretary of the WOESRC said well done to the convoyer for holding over yesterday. A good decision they said. What a joke. Fortunately I sent with the 3 counties and not the WOESRC.
We had thunder as well, I cant believe feds actually held over yesterday
3 Organizations held over at Brighton on Saturday, and I think the WOESRC was one of them. the other two were heading north, and far as I know, got a decent race on Sunday.

Yes Albert. The WOESRC were supposed to have been at Eastbourne but pulled out from there to go to Brighton to be able to lib. Then despite photos showing that it was nice at Brighton and from Trev a few miles down the road they decided to hold over. I can understand the other 2 holding over when they had a long way to go but the WOESRC birds would have been home in 3/4 hours. It does look like they got away with it yesterday despite there being some very heavy showers and thunderstorms around. I would imagine that the combine lost a lot of money from this race. The thing is we went on the Saturday from 26 miles further on and into a strong headwind and had a good race. The velocities were only slightly quicker on the Sunday with much lighter winds.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.
