We popped up to St Arnaud after lunch, took a back road which only saved about 10 minutes, but we saw some more of the district. On the road there we stopped and took a picture of the Logan pub. Never been in there, not planning to, :lol: but it's awesome! It is like a cartoon of a an Aussie bush pub.

In St Arnaud we stopped and looked at the silo art.
It is a popular thing all over the country, artists use the grain silos as a canvas, the results are brilliant!

Yes there is a race course at St Arnaud, they have one meeting a year.
There's a lot of race courses in this part of Victoria.
Ararat, Avoca, Donald, Horsham, Hamilton, Wycheproof, and a few others I probably forgot.
Six days a week there's races out past Bendigo.
