That is true too.
When our younger cat, Banjo, was a kitten he was very keen on the pigeons. On more than one occasion I found him in the loft with them. He didn't hurt them, he just liked them. The pigeons weren't very worried, but they liked it better when he wasn't in there. He just used to climb in through the sputnik.
I had to get into the habit of covering the trap at all times, instead of just at night.
Banjo was alright, but if he could get in, so could a stray cat or a goshawk. :shock:
Best advice, keep your trap locked up all the time.
