Actually, it smells good enough to eat. Put a bit of rocket or cress in it for a bit of bite, a little grind of pepper, It would probably be alright. :D

I didn't get a photo but I've prepared a dish for tomorrow containing spinach, kale, broccoli, celery, spring onion, carrot, green beans and beetroot. Looking forward to seeing what they think of it 👍

I'll be interested to know what your birds thought of the beetroot Muzza, it does make the mix very wet.

They were not quite so keen on it yesterday, they left a bit. Maybe the beetroot was a different thing, but it was a strange day yesterday with the cloud and the wind. The birds seemed a little edgy for some reason.
Today they are much more settled.
I always tip any left over for the wild birds. The magpies like it.

It probably is the beetroot mate, mine weren't so keen again today. I think I probably put in too much beetroot as it made it very wet and I think it was a little bit too finely chopped. I'll try again in the week but leave out the beet root.

That's good, Trev.
I know a lot of blokes dont think it is worth it, but I think they can get extra vitamins and trace elements which may be lacking in a grain only diet.
Besides, they enjoy it, and I enjoy preparing it for them, so everyone is happy. :D
