I wouldn’t have a clue on the price but would like to see actual performance birds near to the one the pedigree is for
Like even performances in feds in the uk even that people don’t seem to value like the Belgium scene but i understand it better
To be honest I wouldn’t free up a box for that bird in my stock loft I gave away a cock that’s a fed winner and 4/5 fed cards last week as I don’t want to have to many stock so one without any performance near to it wouldn’t be much good to me I would rather have kept my old cross bred and tried him at breeding

Very good reply Niel, in today's world, also around the world. There are many flyers that will take a chance on buying from the internet, and some paying over the odds for a racing pigeon. But that is just the hope of many, the highest price paid in a auction for a bird, The most expensive pigeon on record is a Belgian racing pigeon named "New Kim", which sold for a staggering 1.6 million euros, Will the buyer ever get his or her money back?

Wouldn’t know Devo as I don’t know how these stud things work
I have no interests in the money side to pigeons or making money I gave some pigeons away last year and a young lad was 5th club with one Saturday hes thrilled and that’s what to me is the sport
Its a hobby to me all be it I want to win every race I enter , I think my idols are back garden lofts from a era when I was much younger in east London and Dagenham for example the great Planet brothers raced not far from the areas I talk about but I had no interest in them
It’s just my way mate
Give me steve white , Mahoney brothers , ling brothers , Jimmy foster real greats that no one’s heard of when 600-800 pigeons went from a 1/2 mile radius and that’s my interest
I get on with Mike as I have great respect for him and his family racing performances
Walters and broadhurst to me fanciers I would loved to have visited

I would say the best sprinters that local rivals the Leadbeaters ever had were the Dark Wildies from Walters and Broadhurst

They were a great pigeon and I look back fondly of our tussels with those great pigeons
