Neil do you know many birds where entered in this OLR this year? Like you say another poor race. Well done to the owners of the first 2 birds. Any others that return have just homed. Is this really racing? I'll never understand how fanciers can put any store in OLR performances.

I think 540 were entered king
I am like you never would enter one and to be honest would never bring a bird in from OLR the results don’t mean a thing to me
But I know Devo enjoys them which is cool just not for me as my sport isn’t OLR to be honest I would rather enter ybs in breeder buyers to be tested if I couldn’t race least they can go on to race as old birds
But that’s not saying others shouldn’t enjoy them

Yes Neil, i do enjoy the OLR. I dont have a choice to stay in the sport. It would be great to breed birds again myself. But the ILD put a stop to this, so i just enter the OLR. But i do get a chance to travel and visit other lofts.

Try the nrcc next year Devo for £5 a ring you can’t go wrong
32k prize money next week split in two sections to stop the wind direction taking out half the entry

I'll catch up with this topic later.
Hopefully your missing bird will turn up today George, if she doesn't then I fear she probably met her maker as it shouldn't have been a problem for her.
With your blue (who had recovered from an injury) turning up Friday, I still have 1 of each pair left here.
