We could get into a debate, which would never do, but one thing I can and will straighten you up on.
Donald Trump has a lot of things which can be held against him. Being Putin's puppet is NOT one of them. When they met Putin told President Trump he wanted to annex Ukraine.
Trump, in one sentence, put the stop on that idea. "No" he said. "You can't do that".
So Vlad waited until Biden was slid into the White House, THEN he attacked Ukraine.
Criticize the Donald for all his faults. There's no need to invent pretend ones.
As for nato, I remember when he won in 2016. He soon discovered that nearly all the nato members were not paying their share, with the exception of the UK, Greece and one or two others. But everyone expected the US to keep pouring funds into it. Trump was blunt. He saw it as a "very bad deal for America". He was right.
Things are better now, but there are still nations who want the umbrella of nato protection, but will not meet their obligations. Trump sees little benefit for the investment America makes. And as we know, Trump is all about putting the USA first. Which is his job, and which the last couple of Democrat presidents appear to have forgotten.

Hoping to be helpful, :D  I pointed out that they had an election and one candidate was elected in a manner which leaves no doubt about the wishes of the majority of Americans,
That's a democracy.
Some people have it a bit skewed. In their addled minds it is only a democracy if they get their own way all the time. Life doesn't work like that.
Too right
