I agree mate, we had an accident up the road from me a couple of months back involving an electric car, only a relatively small collision but the electric car went up like a bomb, apparently the fire brigade hate them as once they are on fire you can't put them out !!

And whilst the numbers of EV v ICE cars maybe be lower due to actual numbers on the road at present, EV pose a bigger risk to health when they are involved.

I'll stick with petrol. I ain't going to be trapped in an EV when it catches fire. Which I posted because many have died (mainly in Tesla's) when in a total power outage prevented them from getting out of the car when the cars caught fire.

How can you push electric, "Greener" cars with one hand, then spend millions of pounds and God knows how many litres of fuel sending more and more rockets on pointless journeys into space, and as for all the satellites !! How much damage are they causing the environment and to what end
The other thing with all this electric is that it's nothing new, poor old Clive Sinclair got laughed off planet when he brought out his C5 back in the 80s

Comes to something though when you have to update your car software like you would a smart phone or tablet
