Yes, God save the King.
I spent yesterday having the same conversation, over and over. "Did you watch the funeral?".
Everyone from apprentice plumbers in dirty boots and Hi Vis tops, to BMW driving matrons, had sat up all night watching, were glad they did, and thought the King was doing an amazing job, in the circumstances.
Negative responses, or nonsense about 'the republic'?
None. None at all.
