I was very pleased this afternoon, when I saw the dark red Thone' cock, "Red Boy" and the old Thone' hen Tonto had hatched a baby.
She is very old and only lays one egg at a time now. She had had laid twice since we've been here, both clear. The egg was due to hatch but i wasn't hopeful.
When the red bloke paired up with her I was hopeful of getting at least one more from her. Hope it's a hen.
