Looking good mate, you really should try keeping racing pigeons my friend
Apple cider vinegar
Probably, but I want the juice out of the crushed garlic which contains the Allicin, but I don't want the clove floating around starting to decompose. So I strain it out and add the cider vinegar.NeilA wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2024 3:36 pmCould you put the garlic in the acv bottle or would that not work aswellMurray wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2024 8:15 am I swear by apple cider vinegar. It is a great thing to promote the health of the birds, especially if combined with fresh garlic.003.JPG
Three times a week I crush a clove of garlic and put it in a bottle of lukewarm water. several hours later I strain out the garlic, add 10 ml of natural ACV and dilute it to make 3 litres.
The pigeons are always in brilliant health so it does them no harm![]()

Still trying to get agreement to keep 4 pairs, Maria is hard to deal with Trev.

I hope you win, Devo.
I can imagine the 4 pairs that you would select. They all would be off super bloodlines!

I can only try Murray, i have 2 youngsters still in Germany. The plan is to bring them over after the Kassel show at the end of November. If all goes well, i will select the others to make 4 pairs.

Garlic contains a substance called Alliin. When the clove is crushed Alliin is oxidised and becomes Allicin. The oxidation continues and Allicin starts to break down. That is why garlic is most effective when freshly prepared. Over time it loses it's potency.
Because the amount of ACV in a drinker is small, I don't think it makes much difference.

I mean if garlic is placed in the ACV the actual bottle of it then used that way
I seen people use a product with both combined or cloves can be thrown in the bottle and left but just didn’t know if the goodness would work like that
