What a Line of Pigeon this was
I think its a great idea - but you have to be careful
At "genuine distance" I wouldn't want to see more than 25% in the pedigree of the pigeon that's racing the distance
My fear would be that rather than injecting speed into the equation then you actually dent the strength and stamina in a negative way
So 25% max is best I feel
It also depends on what family of birds we're talking about that is adding the injection
Is it your Hooymans? Because I certainly wouldn't class them as a "sprinter"
Yes they can and do sprint, but they're a hell of a 250-450 miles pigeon in their own right

Due to not being able to test them at the distance for a few year we started to cross them with some faster pigeons we brought in and feel we now have pigeons we can work with and we will hopefully be pushing on to Pau NFC at 800 mile.

The most important and prestigious title there is undoubtedly the Ace Pigeon, which was won in 2018 by James Huang, a Taiwanese businessman, based in Shanghai and in the Pioneer represented Club by Taiwanese top fancier Chen Yong-Shan, who races the pigeons bred by James.
The Ace Pigeon winner 18-791 was renamed "James's Legend", (which he deserves without a doubt) because never before has such an exceptional pigeon flown in the Pioneer Club; Four weeks in row in the top prizes in four flights of 321 miles (500 kms.) in different conditions (which to the contributed in the decrease of basketed pigeons). On his own, "James's Legend" won 7 cars throughout the competition, including a Mercedes G63 worth ca. - $150,000. - Yeah.
The Besides Ace Pigeon, also James won the title "Champion Loft" Pioneer 2018, and in total he received the keys of no less than 13 different cars!
On November 20 of this year the auction of the auction of the Prize winning pigeons from the Pioneer Club took place, and after a long bidding battle, James could take home his ace for the unimaginable of 22 million Chinese yuan (renminbi), works out at a cool €2,788,000... An absolute world record!
