It's a pleasure being out with my pigeons again. I am being got up at 6.30 by a Banjo kitten who wants his breakfast, then I am out to see the birds. While I quickly pick up the droppings and check the feed, I have pigeons sitting on me and telling me all about it.
The ones that were a bit more affected by their enforced time in the chook shed in Bealiba are getting over it. :D
After breakfast I can go out and mess about with them and make sure everything is good.
Then I have to be firm with myself and STAY AWAY from them during the day.
Now I'm retired I can spend more time with them, but they need time to live their lives without being constantly disturbed.

The first babies in St Arnaud arrived last night. :D
The wee 600 mile hen laid very soon after we moved and two strong little fellas are there this morning.
