Life in St Arnaud
It's a pleasure being out with my pigeons again. I am being got up at 6.30 by a Banjo kitten who wants his breakfast, then I am out to see the birds. While I quickly pick up the droppings and check the feed, I have pigeons sitting on me and telling me all about it.
The ones that were a bit more affected by their enforced time in the chook shed in Bealiba are getting over it.
After breakfast I can go out and mess about with them and make sure everything is good.
Then I have to be firm with myself and STAY AWAY from them during the day.
Now I'm retired I can spend more time with them, but they need time to live their lives without being constantly disturbed.

The first babies in St Arnaud arrived last night.
The wee 600 mile hen laid very soon after we moved and two strong little fellas are there this morning.
