I have not used yellow drops partly because,
Many years ago there was a horse in the stable where I was apprenticed, that put her leg through a wire fence and made a mess of it. The vet came and cleaned it up. He left a bottle of Acriflavine lotion, to be applied daily.
I took the bandage off the horse and put this lotion on. Before I could get a bandage back on it was kicking and biting.
The next day there was no way it was going to let me do that again.
And yet we are supposed to drip that stuff into a pigeon's mouth?
Not where I live.

Done mine yesterday
Took them training straight after made good time
2 drops 1 in each nostril
I try to do it every 3 weeks on a Thursday if time as that seems to work best
Yellow drops are acriflavine
Not sure if neat or diluted though
If you ever see a pigeon look like there chewing gum where there stood on the perch and every now and again the bottom of the beak moves
which I see in many lofts although I’m not sure everyone picks up on it the yellow drops cure it after 3 days
I trialled that with Anthony Webster who some may remember from chat and it worked in both lofts

That''s great to hear.
I am fortunate in never having seen a pigeon 'chewing gum'.
But I did once rub Acriflavine into a scratch on my arm. Only once.

Seen it in loads of lofts got to Stand there watching normally in the evening
The yellow drops don’t sting cuts Murray I have had it all over my hands as it’s mess of a job to do
I have Acriflavine at the loft for koi carp ponds that never stings either I think that 10 per cent it’s not like iodine in a cut
You may have had a more higher percentage as this is like water in a cut

Thanks Mike, I done mine yesterday then went training straight after, don't half make a mess of your hands.
Think I'll just use the Acriflavine on the food as & when needed.

I am half a world away, and half a season away.
I have said what I think about Acriflavine, I will not have it.
But in another place at another time, if it works for you, why not?
The one thing I do add is, are you really sure it's working for you? Or did you just hear that it works..........

Give you an example I used it Wednesday Thursday as I noticed the chewing some had it 3 times
Over 36 hours
Basket Thursday and I had a great race on the Saturday I think 11/12 in the top 25 of the station from my entry of 17
I’m not saying it makes them win but it definitely didn’t hurt them
Ybs last year both fed wins were on weeks I used it

Hello Murray, thanks in taking the time to post on this topic, yes I can see that it's made a difference they seemed more switched on, all I will say is Anthony Webster put me onto the Acriflavine when Chat was still going, & I've always valued what he posted & his track record, the same applies to Neil & Mike I think you need to sit up & take notice whatever these 2 people have to say with advice.
Mike from when he had his winning pigeons & more recently Neil ongoing success on a regular basis, if I need any advice or I'm not sure I only need to ask, I've never been refused ever they've both been helpful to me.
