When I was sprinting Superstar Plus and Energy Plus were at the heart of our success
How much were you feeding per day?

It reminds me very much of a mixture we used to sell called ‘Gold Seal’
Mind you, I’m going back about 40 years now

Hi Jim
I never measured it to the precision that Neil offers, i just trusted my instincts and by the ‘feel’. Each cock was fed in his box and generally speaking I’d visit each cock maybe 3 times in 10 min. I always put in small quantities to encourage them to eat it all
Thurs night i would go back time and time again for an hour, tipping away and replenishing. On a Friday if my cocks ate a lot i knew i was f’cked. They should only ‘graze’ on a Friday

It's been a long thread, and some good ideas have been thrown around.
If I may summarise it from my perspective, I have a team of second, third, and even a few fourth round youngsters, after all the early ones were whisked of to other fame and fortune.
I may have recounted times when they were landing in trees, sitting out until midday, etc....
Now they are starting to be under a bit of pressure. This morning i. thought I had enough time to make another cup of coffee before they came back. Looked out, pigeons diving in the trap, me running out spilling coffee, calling c'mon c'mon' c'mon
By just doing the same thing over and over and over and over, they now are trapping when flying, trapping when tossing, and have gone from a bunch of leftovers to a pretty impressive team.
There's the lesson. Don't panic, just keep them on a routine, they WILL come right
