Cold and frosty this morning

Up to -2c now so getting better 3 out of 5 drinkers frozen this morning other 2 had plenty ice in them, pond filter flow started to freeze where water goes back into pond

Hasn’t been above 2c all day. Been dry but rather cloudy most of it. -1c here now.

Going heavy fog here now and at -3 at present

more drinkers frozen

I must say, I don’t have too much problem with frozen drinkers. -3c outside but still above freezing inside loft. I did have a very thin bit on one of the drinkers yesterday morning but this one was up in the front of the loft. Moved down onto the floor yesterday and clear of ice this morning.

Foggy and very cold again this morning.

It is a pain this time of year, some of mine do tend to freeze as well. The ones down on the floor do tend to be better than the ones on the front shelf but I do have my loft completely open fronted unless it rains.
