That is nice always good to have good neighbours

We had a big skip bin delivered yesterday and today spent a couple of hours putting carpet, broken tiles and rubbish in it. It is so frustrating, I want to just chuck stuff in it, but I have to go slowly.
Slowly does it Murray, it will all be done soon. Health comes first mate, it will all be done for you both to enjoy.

Just saw that Trump is $1.80 favorite to win the US election.
Biden is $3.00.
I said to Catherine, if I can find $1.90 somewhere, it's probably a very good bet.
It's got nothing to do with how horrible Trump is, it's how hopeless Biden is.
Probably need to get on soon before it shortens..... ;)

The old bald Cockatoo was wandering around this morning when i went out to feed the pigeons. I took a handful of pigeon mix out of the tin and threw it to him. He never moved, just started picking away at it. :D
The old fellow has figured out that we won't hurt him.

He will be following you when you move, I think they soon realise when you mean no harm

I had an appointment with the lung doctor lady today. About three quarters of an hour of lung function tests then a nice wait of another 45 minutes while read the latest Spectator magazine which I took with me, then a talk with the doctor.
Good news and bad news.
Good news is there is no sign of pigeon lung, so the birds don''t have to go. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
Bad news is the lung disease has got worse. Well I didn't need a specialist to tell me that. I now have severe emphysema. So a non medical way of putting it is, I am pretty buggered. However we had a chat and I told her the last inhaler she gave me was not as effective as the old one in my case. So she put me back on the old one and made an appointment to see her in December.
So she must think I will still be here in 6 months. That's gotta be good news :D

Well i would say good news mate, so good to hear you can keep the birds. Just do things at you own pace, and stop the dancing in the shed. Great news Murray.

The thing is, apart from the lungs I feel terrific! Since I retired and don't have sort out everyone's problems every day, I feel great.
It's a bit annoying, frankly....
