Yep, large parts of the country are having very high temperatures. It's Australia, it's what happens here.
Where we are in the south east, December daytime temperatures were bang on the long term average, for the umpteenth month on a row.
We can expect 31 degrees today. Back around 5 to 10 years ago we were getting 41 to 44 degrees for days on end. and back 15 years ago it was getting up over 45.
The weather pattern is certainly changing. It's Climate Change!

The wind and rain passed through in the early hours, it's much colder but dry, calm and reasonably bright this morning.
