Ok ish I didn't win the NRCC so I could of done better, however, Dale Culling who did win the NRCC is a top chap so a well deserved win for him. I sent 24 timed 23 and got the other Sunday morning, got pipped into 2nd place in the club 6/104. in the club I had 2,3,4,5,7,9 12,14,15. My first 1 bird is currently 22nd Open NRCC and as the first 4 are within 3 minuets of each other they'll probably all make the top 100 NRCC. So a good race with room for improvement at Fraserburgh.NeilA wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2024 2:45 pmHow was the race for you SteveSteve Howells wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 4:23 pmBugger I've emptied the shed the lot are sitting up at Perth at this minuetAnthony webster wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 11:45 am I don't like forecast m8 it's the gusts to 28mph scare me![]()

Thanks chaps. These are the races I always want to try and do well at, so my whole season is geared around the 250 mile plus races. Fraserburgh next 362 miles to me and it can be a difficult race point so here's hoping the weather will be relatively kind, a nice SW wind giving us around 10 hours would be perfect!!
What’s Dunbar to you SteveSteve Howells wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2024 8:03 pmThanks chaps. It’s in my mind to try next year but we were only had 110 miles the week before and it’s 310 just wondered what it was and what yours had prior and how the yearlings performed if you sent any

Dunbar to me is around 268 miles. 4 of the first 5 from Perth were yearlings. As young birds they only had 3 races to 70 miles. this year they had 1 x70 miles 1 x 90 miles and two at 132 miles. I only sent 1 yearling to Dunbar because I wasn't happy with them. Perth to me is 313 miles so they had a 181 mile jump.
Well done SteveSteve Howells wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2024 5:54 pmOk ish I didn't win the NRCC so I could of done better, however, Dale Culling who did win the NRCC is a top chap so a well deserved win for him.
