Looks ok to me, maybe turn light off will stop shadow, but still good pics mate

think shadow has now gone from under the beak much easier than in the loft just cage and 2 pieces of wood

I think you are always going to get a shadow if using artificial light unless the photo is edited and doctored.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

I might be mistaken but I think the professionals use very bright side lighting to both calm the bird and lose any shadows.
