I have been pottering around cutting and screwing the frames together for the Aviary on the stock shed.
Then I took it all apart, and gave it one coat of paint. I will take all the bits to the cottage and when I re assemble it I'll put another coat on it.
I bought heavy 25mm mesh to go in it, it wasn't cheap, but it will make a strong structure. Quite pleased with how it's going together. :D

We went into Bendigo today, and on the way back the sun was getting over to the west and there was some cloud, so the light was lovely.
we drive about 40 miles up from Bendigo, it's a very gradual climb all the way. This is the high point.

Then we drive a winding road through forest into a broad valley. This is about 5 miles from home.

There was a big mob of kangaroos in the distance but you can't see them.
