Nothing to change my mind on these races Devo even one that you have looked into to check the welfare of the birds
Sorry for you as i know you were looking forward to it for ages
German classic OLR 2024
I have to say Neil, the data on this OLR was very good until todays race. Starting with 1306 youngsters on May 4th, training and 4 races, going into the final with 884 youngsters. I would say this was not bad data, others may not agree of course.

Unlucky devo, better luck next year
Thank you Silvercock, Yes move on to preparations for next year. You have to be in it to win it. it gives me great joy.
It looks like the ones that came were in a steady flow. The winner was at 1270 metres and the first 130 pigeons were over 1200 metres.
There was a big first bunch at 1270 metres so obviously some of them handled the conditions.

Greetings from the land down under.
Blessed is he who expecteth nothing, for verily, he shall not be disappointed.

Yes Murray i agree, horses for coursers i would say. It goes on in every sport, i guess.
So my own thoughts on how this years racing went in OLR, I wanted the youngsters to enter the OLR at the end of March 24. But it turned out they went into the loft on the 4 th of May.24, I just feel those extra 5 weeks would have helped the youngsters being more stronger. So my next venture for next year, will be all about getting the birds in the loft at the end of March 25.
