Nothing to change my mind on these races Devo even one that you have looked into to check the welfare of the birds

I have to say Neil, the data on this OLR was very good until todays race. Starting with 1306 youngsters on May 4th, training and 4 races, going into the final with 884 youngsters. I would say this was not bad data, others may not agree of course.

I can only go by what’s home today Devo not what was there
About 900 lost or missing
But it’s better than a lot I have seen

Yes i understand Neil, 465 from todays race not returned. Does not look good at all.

It looks like the ones that came were in a steady flow. The winner was at 1270 metres and the first 130 pigeons were over 1200 metres.
There was a big first bunch at 1270 metres so obviously some of them handled the conditions.

Yes Murray i agree, horses for coursers i would say. It goes on in every sport, i guess.

So my own thoughts on how this years racing went in OLR, I wanted the youngsters to enter the OLR at the end of March 24. But it turned out they went into the loft on the 4 th of May.24, I just feel those extra 5 weeks would have helped the youngsters being more stronger. So my next venture for next year, will be all about getting the birds in the loft at the end of March 25.
