And I am big on health and safety, but half a dozen blokes standing in a field, with absolutely no imminent danger at all, or a bloke in charge of boxes of celery and green beans, why are they wearing Hi Vis clothing, indicating that there is a potential risk to safety.
I've been around a long time, and I have never seen a bunch of celery create a health and safety issue.
Cross my heart.
I agree Muzza, the world has gone mad, sadly it's down to the sad sue culture we live in today, employees can't take any chances. There are working procedure manuals for everything, and items easier to say that "high vis clothing must be worn at all times" rather than adding, "unless you are in the middle of a field" or are in the fruit and veg ilse !! Unfortunately too many people lack common sense and employers have to assume that everyone is an idiot !!
