When we visited David Cox, and he gave George the little "Diamond Blaze", we were both very pleased. And when he also gave us a young cock which George has named "Miracle Leo" I was, as George says, "Well made up!".
It was about then that our real strong friendship became clear, we started talking about the possibilities here. George saw the potential to enter OLR's, Breeder's Plate races, the scene is quite vital here now. I was roused out of just breeding pigeons and wondering what to do with them. When we looked at what is in my shed, we got a bit enthused. So we struck a deal.
Yesterday a load of timber arrived.

There is a lot of timber there, plus 12 8'x4' sheets of ply. We are going to build a nice loft.

All too soon, George had to go. I can tell you we were a bit quiet on the trip home. He has become a great friend in a short time. He is planning to come back in January, we are looking forward to it. :D

Good day to you Murray, i hope all is going well. You have a busy time going on over there, did all go well with the work being done in the kitchen?
Well it was a long journey home, after you and cathrine dropped me off at Bendingo station. I arrived at the airport for 8 00 pm, then had to wait for my flight.
We took off at 11 45 pm, it was a 13 hour 30 minute flight from Melbourne to Doha. Then when I arrived at Doha, there was a 2 hour change to next flight.
And that was then a 7 hour flight to Manchester from Doha.

I am so lucky to have shared some quality time with You and Cathrine, and that will stay with me all my life. I had a very nice time and was sorry to be leaving
there, you both made me feel so at home. And sharing my time with you and the 3 cats, Flynn Benjo and Ollie. was a new look in my life.

So on to the project, I am sure we have got off to a great start. But a lot of the work is being left to yourself, I think it will be great when the new loft is finished,
what a change it will be. A 20 ft loft in the same style of the one in the photo, a section with 9 breeding boxs, in the middle a doorway with a storage section.
Leading to 2 young bird sections, or we can change one of the sections for when hens are split from the cocks.

We have a very nice team of birds there, and like we have said it will be selective breeding for our project. Thank you for all you done for me on my stay, I cant
thank you and Cathrine, for putting up with me. Thanks for that lad.

To give you an idea of some of the youngsters, the 2 new additions from David Cox. Whom is a very good friend of Murray, this is the Quality for our breeding,. The good thing is we have already got some of these lines, already in the loft. I am sure Murray will feed a lot more of what breeding is already in the loft.
