Here is some write up about it Daz71
Down at the Cabbage Patch the first UBI Combine channel race arrived which was flown from Falaise which would be between 183-195 miles to our members. The birds were marked on Thursday evening and at the end of marking 12 Members had sent 210 Birds with 3046 birds in total in the Combine. It turned out to be a hard race with some members having several losses. Our winner for this race also taking 12th Inter Counties Fed, 18th UBI Combine was Steve Williams with a Dark Chequer Van Rijn Hen. Steve Holloway was 2nd Club, 20th Inter Counties Fed & 28th UBI Combine with a Blue Chequer Van Reet Cock bred down from his original Louella birds of 2015 when he restarted in the sport. Steve Williams took 3rd Club, 44th UBI Combine with a Dark Chequer Van Rijn x Janssen Cock. Peter Glass took 4th Club with a Blue Cock from his own family. Taking 5th Club was Paul Stone with a Blue Jan Theelan x Van Der Wegen Cock bred by Dave Ramsay of Hazlemere. Dave no longer keeps pigeons as he packed up thru ill health. Finally in 6th position is Geoff Barker with a Chequer Pied Lambrecht Cock, a previous winner of 1st Club, 12th Fed Exeter, 2nd Club, 11th Fed, 13th UBI Combine Falaise, 1st Club,16th Fed Honiton, 3rd Club Yelverton, 2nd Club Exeter, 3rd Club, 14th Fed, 37th UBI Combine Guernsey & 1st Club, 8th Fed Falaise.

I know Daz is looking to join a club in the London area. Obviously seen UBI mentioned. I have looked at that website and it seems very informative. The only thing is it mentions the UBI combine on numerous occasions but doesn’t mention what UBI stands for. I’m sure one of our new members probably know.

Think it is something to do with Thames North and Eastern Counties Flying Club
